Our camp in Lake Tahoe is hosted at Sierra Nevada College, an accredited liberal arts college founded in 1969. The school’s founders sought to leverage the location’s unique environmental qualities in its academic programs, and to this day, curriculum emphasizes environmental, social, economic and educational sustainability.
Sierra Nevada College is nestled in the beautiful sierra high country that surrounds Lake Tahoe — one of the world’s most scenic communities, with abundant opportunities for outdoor adventure including backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, wakeboarding, and river rafting. The College is also home to an internationally acclaimed summer arts camp.
The bright, airy Campbell-Friedman residence hall offers comfortable, furnished rooms with private bathrooms, a dining hall and lounge areas/game rooms.
